A Bible I Can Understand

A young man about 21 yrs. old came into the Bible Society bookshop, asking to see the Illustrated Bibles.  He was looking for one in particular.  The salesman explained that this one was written especially for children, and the man said, “I know. I saw this Bible with some children several years ago, and they said that they had received it free from the Bible Society.”  He stated that he wanted to purchase this Bible for himself, because he found it very easy to understand, and yet provided deep Scripture content.  He said, “I can understand this much better than the regular Bible.”
