Project Summary and Feedback

Each summer we distribute thousands of subsidized copies of “The Story” - an abridged, chronological Bible, challenging teenagers to read God's Word.

The churches follow-up and the Bible Society works with the churches to create Quiz show competitions based on this book, to help teenagers to engage further with the Scriptures. This is an important motivational factor.

Everyone receives small Scripture gifts, with extra prizes for top 3% of the competition winners, donated by local businesses. As the communities involved are usually very poor, these items are a big help to the household, and a great incentive for the whole family to come together in supporting their youth in this study.

These exciting competition events also include an evening for the whole family including worship/praise lead by a music team, preaching, and a powerful drama.  Sometimes we are also able to have a Talent Show (which was done in previous years – see video clip), and teenagers express a Biblical truth/theme, assessed by judges, and given prizes.
