As Kirolus unzipped his Christmas Backpack, his eyes lit up with excitement. “I never had a puzzle before!” Pulling out the Nativity handicraft he said, “I like to build stuff, and I will put the manger together. We live in the garbage village and I found some parts of toys, and I like to put them together. Now I have two new things to build.”
Each year, the Bible Society of Egypt provides thousands of disadvantaged children with a free Christmas gift that most of these families could not afford.
Mariam, 11, was so pleased with her gift. “I can read, color, build my manger scene, solve a puzzle, answer a quiz, memorize Bible verses, and have so much fun!!! Thank you so much!”
Colorful and appealing Scripture products include a board game, puzzle, a quality hard-cover illustrated Bible storybook, and several other Christmas activity and coloring books… impacting these young lives as they engage with the Word of God in an understandable and appealing format.
The Church leaders and Sunday-School teachers are so encouraged by this support of a free Christmas Gift to distribute. Many of these village churches are overwhelmed and limited in their resources as they respond to the many needs of the congregation.
It costs $8 per child and we have received funds for 16,500 children. But we could easily serve double this number if funding were available! Would you like to provide a Christmas gift for Egyptian children, bringing joy, uplifting these struggling Christian families and strengthening their faith?
